The Steam Punk hidden Nautilus - Brighton

I performed at The Malborough Theatre in Brighton for my lovely chum Tarik and his night The Hidden... this month it was the hidden Nautilus, I have done his show before and I did my Humming Bird for his Hidden Taxidermist,

I performed in my very pink, very shiny and very lovely clam. I did my mermaid act with the tail and pearls, British heart was the poor sod who had to carry me on stage, I have put on a few pounds recently and I think he got a hernia as there was so much stuff on the stage it took him a while, bless him. He then did a performance which literally had everyone in the audience screaming, I love that man, you never know what he's going to do, and the beauty of it is I don't think he does either.
I also had the pleasure of working with Professor Elemental, he's brilliant! A very lovely chap indeed and very good.

Barcelona - Taboo

I had the pleasure of flying over to Barcelona to be apart of the show Taboo, which is held in a beautiful venue, it's a proper old Music Hall style stage and it looked amazing!

I flew over with lovely Kitty Bang Bang and one of my favourite Burlesque ladies Fifi Fatale,

The show was a lot of fun and a very slick and efficient team of people working on it, plus a great band. It was a Thurs and I wasn't sure how the turn out would be, but it was rammed and the people there were very responsive and friendly.

I was booked to do my Ziegfeld carnie and my Bordello Queen, two routines I wouldn't normally combine as they are quite similar in costumes, white feathers, silvers and diamonds. But I took them anyway, it made me laugh in the dressing room as Fifi and I had pretty much the same costume on at one point and we even shared jewellery, (very different syled acts tho) Fifi has such long legs and is so elegant on stage, like a graceful swan, she's a little more 40s as well and very classical.
Kitty Bang Bang was there too, she performed a Rule Brittania style routine and her pussy cat, we had to try and find a bin in Barcelona she would fit in, she managed to find one in the end.

Barcelona was lovely and I would very much like to go back there soon and explore it fully, the architecture looked incredible. SO I think a long weekend there is needed, sitting on the beach and sipping cocktails, yes please.

Milan fun with Voodoo DeLuxe - 4th Feb 2012

I had such a fantastic night in Milan with the amazing gang of Voodoo Deluxe, it was a real pleasure to see them all again, such a lovely little family of people!

I had the absolute pleasure of sharing the stage with the gorgeous and talented Jolie Pappillon, Lolly Wish and George Bangable, and of course Sara hosting and Jo the little stage Kitten were great fun!!

Having cut my thumb and it being bandaged I managed to make it a little more subtle by using some normal plasters, BUT boy oh boy did it hurt and prove to be a little harder than expected to perform with, especially when it came to ribbons. Hmm got stuck inside my Winter Hinterland costume for a little longer than planned. But managed to literally wiggle my way out of it.

Check out all the photos on Facebook from Patrice Hornez, a great guy and lots of fun.

He got some great ones.

I really love these sorts of shows, where everyone gets on and has a really nice time. I only had two hours sleep and delays on flights and trains because of the snow, yet I was still in a good mood as I knew it was worth it.

This is a little promo video for Voodoo Deluxe with artists such as myself, Dolly Lamour, Janet Fischietto, Vicky Butterfly, Amber Topaz, Lady Flo and Lada Redstar.
You'll hopefully see why it's such a good show!

I nearly cut my thumb off with a bread knife, do you think I could make this a little sexier? Ouch.

I hate it!! I hate it!

Milan - Voodoo Feb 4th

This weekend!

Compiegne - 1920's Cinema

It was a lovely show over in Compiegne, we were performing as part of the closure of the 1920s cinema. Joilisibo, the lovely lady running the show lined up a real treat as we were picked up in vintage cars, driven around Compiegne and then walked the red carpet into the venue, lots of cameras and lot's of fun!!

I shared the stage with the incredible Miss Anne Thropy, Scarlett Martini, Lilly Deslys, Marawa, Lada Redstar and Xarah Von Veilenragen.

Such a great bunch of ladies.

I will update this post when more pictures arise.

Die Freche Muse - The Impudent Muse

Last week I spent the night in London, I partied away with the beautiful creatures that filled the old brick tunnels of 9 Adam Street, plenty of 1920s ditties and 30s inspired gorgeous people!

It was a pleasure as the Die Freche crowd always make a real effort on thier costumes and party wear.

Also performing was the very talented Marriane Cheesecake, she looked incredible with her gold sparkly bananas.

Pictures by Nick Von Fiction.

It was great fun.
